An Apple iOS or Android OS mobile unit + a Talk Out Mobile app installed and actively running + a Wi-Fi Hotspot signal or frequency.
What do I need to connect a call on a 3G Network?
An Apple iOS or Android OS mobile unit + a Talk Out Mobile app installed and actively running + a 3G Data Plan (with a carrier).
What do I need to connect a call at home?
An Apple iOS or Android OS mobile unit + a Talk Out Mobile app installed and actively running + High Speed Internet connected to a Wi-Fi router (device transmitting wireless Wi-Fi signals).
How do I make FREE member to member calls?
All member to member calls, video chats and instant messaging are made within the Talk Out IM icon at the bottom left of your mobile screen. First get the Talk Out Mobile member username of the person you want to reach and touch the «+» icon in the top right corner of the screen. Then type in the username in the space provided and «ADD» to your list of Talk Out Mobile contact names. Touch the «IM FREE» icon in the top left corner of the screen and the contact’s username will appear. Now all you have to do to reach this member is to touch the username and choose photo, chat, video chat, voice call or send an audio message to contact this member.
How do I dial to a non-member?
Calls to non-members are dialed within the Talk Out Mobile application once pay-as-you-go credits have been purchased. For all local, domestic or international calls, touch the flag in the top left corner of the screen, choose the country and then the name from your contact list or simply dial the number.
What is a Test Call?
The Test Call icon in the Talk Out IM-FREE section of the application triggers a call to check if you are connected on a Wi-Fi or 3G network. If you here music, you are connected to a wireless network. If it continually rings and you don’t hear music, you are NOT connected to a Wi-Fi signal or a 3G network.
