Will Talk Out Mobile work on a 3G Network?
YES! The Talk Out Mobile application is 3G Network compatible, it will connect with all the 3G data networks supported by Apple iOS or Android OS units. Check with your 3G provider or carrier as additional fees will apply to use their 3G Network.

How good is call quality on 3G Networks?
In general, call quality is very good on all the 3G Data Networks. Beware that some 3G carriers do not provide full 3G transmission speeds in certain locations or regions (they don’t have the latest 3G cellular towers to support high speed transmission) and may switch to Edge, resulting in low quality communications. In addition, data transmission speeds are unpredictable from one 3G provider to another, so please check with your current 3G carrier.

Video chats not recommended on 3G Networks.

How good is call quality on CDMA, Edge or 2G (older GSM) protocols?
You may experience latency (delay), jitter (rapid cutting of voice or image) or a drop call (completely cuts off) on slow data transmission speeds. Voice and video calls on data transmission networks are in REAL TIME, more demanding on the network than web browsing and emails.

Video chats DEFINITELY NOT recommended on 2G Networks.
